Deccan chargers couldn’t have timed their ninth defeat at uppal stadium any worse.Their second defeat in group A of the champions league T20 meant curtains to their campaign while trinidad and tobago who won the crucial league encounter by three runs, and somerset sabres progress to super eight.
Chargers looked good when they set out to beat the target posed by their opponent though they lost 3 crucial wickets in the beginning Gilly was at his best when he scored those boundaries in style.He made a promising 51 of 36 balls and got out by a good catch by pollard in the deep.Venugopal rao and rohit sharma looked like finishing this match but the two silly runouts and flury of wickets in the end got end to a thrilling match when bravo bowled the last over with 8 runs for victory and he finished in style.The death bowling by him was good enough to see that chargers were out of the tournament.
As we see this is a 9th defeat on our home ground the fans were amazingly supportive and let their heart out for chargers but yet the uppal stadium didn’t shower any luck on the home side.
