Its all changes in Deccan Chargers. The captain has changed. The coach has changed. The squad has changed. The logo and jersey have also changed. With all these changes can they bring out the change in the championship?
It’s almost the 2nd season of IPL and every team is trying hard to create their mark this time. The new Coach Darren Lehmann is pretty confident about the team’s performance in this second version of IPL. In an article written by him on the Deccan Chargers’ website, he also mentioned that he was pretty happy the way things are now with the Deccan Chargers. He also added that he finds Deccan Chargers as one of the strongest teams in this IPL.
The changes for me look good. There is a good focus now on the field (hired a new fielding coach). Adam Gilchrist is the new captain of Deccan Chargers. His is one of the greatest cricket players in the World. He has served the World number 1 ranked cricket team as Vice Captain and he is well versed with captaincy and he appears to be a good captain as of me. This can be noted as the first positive from Deccan Chargers point of view. This IPL team faced problem with the bowling department in the first IPL. Hence, this time two West Indian players – Dwayne Smith and Fidel Edwards, have been taken into the side to lift the strength in the bowling department. Rohit Sharma who impressed every one with his play is the Vice Captain of Deccan Chargers. How ever, Sanjay Bangar who performed well in the last season is not in the Deccan Chargers. Few new Indian faces can be seen this time in the team. It is good that finding match winners with in the country is equally important as having foreign players in the squad. The perfect balance get make the difference. And as far as jersey is concerned, it is left for you to comment. The logo change did not impress me at least. The older logo was more impressive as per me.

Never under estimate the team which performed with their bad show previously.This time the team is completely charged.They are the “UNSTOPABBLES”…..

I tho liked the jersey a lot, because its “blue”. And as of logo its okay though not very impressive, might be better suited for the “Hero Honda Hunk” AD.
