DEVILS DIMINISHES LIONS

The 3^rd match of the IPL was totally a one sided match as the earlier one’s,though the rain factor slowed down the pace of the game the players kept their pace going. As the match was delayed due to rain the overs were reduced to 12 per team. Daredevils won the toss and chose to field.Lions had a good start with Karan Goel and Ravi Bopara got their guns going. As the previous two matches in the IPL, spinner was the mutater in this game to,Vettori went to take 3 wickets for 15 runs. Exhibition of some excellent fielding skills also added to constrain the Lions to 104 for 5 in 12 overs.

In response the deadly devils Shewag and Gambhir were in, to chase the target. pathan started the proceeding for Lions,though he troubled ghambir by his swingers initially, later gambhir capitalized on him. Coming to the other end  the dashing opener Shewag started his preceedings with a six,then he never looked back he kept playing his natural disastrous game. The game had to be stopped when the score was 24 in 1.5 overs,then came the question of Duckworth Louis, even in order to give the result in this manner the game had to be played for atleast 5 overs ,mean while the rain stopped and  the covers were off and the game started and a target of 54 runs in 6 overs was set. The Devils needed 30 runs in25 balls.though the rain  interrupted the game it could not interrupt shewag’s momemtum, he kept blazing his gun. He concluded the game by hitting piyush chawla for a six.
