India beat Bangladesh by 25 runs. Dhoni won the toss and chose to bat first. Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma opened the innings for india. The opening pair seemed to be promising once again. Both of them were able to put up a partneship of 50 runs in just 6 overs. Which had few brilliant strokes of Sharma. Though India had a good start it truly missed the grace and power of ‘Sehwag’.

yuvraj-singhIndia seem to be going great at that point. Sharma seemed to be in a hurry, tried to put away every ball not caring whether it was good enough or not. He was sent back into the dug by Shakibul. Gambhir played a patient and controlled knock and completed his 50. Dhoni and Gambhir seemed to be dangerous at one point both of them were sent back by Naeem islam. Dhoni stopped at 26. Game seemed to be balanced at that point. Then began the Show T20 Star. Yuvraj was hammering the Bangla bowlers. He made a bliztering 41 runs from just 18 balls. It had three 4’s and four 6’s. He was caught in the deep in an attempt of shot at that point score was 155. Now who could imagine that even the 7th wicket player could put away anything out of the fence in a flip. Pathan score 11 runs in the last 3 balls. This helped India to put a target of 181 to Bangladesh.

Bangladesh had quite a good start. Zaheer wasn’t so impressive. He seemed to be suffering from the injury. Shockingly RP Singh was not in the squad of day’s play. Siddique was the only player in the Bangla’s side who sticked for a longer time, and had a significant knock. Ojha was the star Ojhaperfomer of the day. He took wickets at regular intervals. Took the wicket of Shakibul in his first ball. He continued to take the wickets of Siddique, Mehmadulla and Mortaza. He was awarded Man of the Match for taking 4 wicktes for just 21 runs.
