India and Pakistan are all set to play a fund raising, practice game before the T20 world cup begins. ICC in a bid to assist the families of those deceased in the deadly terror attack on sri-lankan team earlier this year, managed to organise a match between the arch rivals at kennington oval on 3rd june.  This match would be a tribute in remberance of the  policemen and soldiers who have laid down their lives for protecting their guests. The Srilankan players could escape with minor injuries, thanks to these brave men. ”It is encouraging to see the rest of the cricket world coming together in this way” was quoted by Ejaz Butt.

It is a known fact that all the encounters between the two high octane sides have been complete sell-outs, and probably the crowd and compassion this practice match would generate would be comparable to that of the T20 world cup final.  More importantly, watch this match for sure to see the two finalists of the last world cup face to face. The T20 world cup starts from where it left last time. All this for a great cause though!
