Injury wories for Black Caps ahead of super 8’s

List of injured players is bothering Black Caps ahead of their super 8’s match against Ireland. The long list including hard hitting batsmen Jesse Ryder and Ross Taylor , captain Daniel Vettori missed the two group matches with a shoulder injury, incurred in training, and will be given a fitness check ahead of the game.Fast bowler James Franklin who missed out the match against Proteas with a knee niggle is expected to come back to the side.

Opener Ryder who was admitted  in a London hospital remained there for tests on ongoing muscle pain  Taylor will be rested in a bid to nurse the hamstring injury he picked up in the one-run defeat to South Africa.

On the other hand Ireland are looking to disappoint the injury hit New Zealand as their inform batsmen Niall O’Brien and former skipper Trent Johnston who were missing in the match against India are expected to be fit to face New Zealand.
