Lions to rely on Cubs

Kings XI Punjab is seriously facing a problem in their pace bowling segment. Shantha kumaran sreeshant who emerged as the leading wicket taker in the last season, and who added some valuable wickets to India  which helped in winning T20 world cup in South Africa is far from IPL second season due to injury. His absence may be definitely felt in the team because he is the person who keeps the spirit alive of winning the game. Brett lee Australian ace pace bowler is out of IPL at present due to ankle injury and may join the squad on May 9th in the match against Deccan Chargers, he is considered as one of the most experienced bowler in the side who is expected to inspire the other young team mates. His deficiency is felt a lot in the bowling wing and his place cannot be replaced at the moment. Irfan Pathan is expected to take the responsibility of bowling on his shoulders and keep correcting his young partners who have never been abroad to get effective results.

In order to fill up the blank positions in the team two new players Yusuf Abdullah and Burt Cockley of Australia are included in the squad. The team is totally dependent on their performance. They believe their support would be really helpful to Irfan Pathan to try and do something new which would often give good results in these kinds of matches.

Yusuf Abdullah of South Africa had a mind blowing debut with Australia in South Africa. He is considered as the fastest of the domestic level in South Africa .He till date played 26 T20’s in each of which he was very successful, he is expected to perform with same form and replace the position of either of the injured bowlers.

Burt Cockley is the other new face included in the lion’s squad. He represented the New South Wales country in his domestic level, at present he is playing for blues. Preety Zinta had many praises for him during the inaugural ceremony of the lion’s team. According to sources he is pretty faster than that of the Indian bowlers in the lion’s squad, he was a grounds man at north Sydney oval before he was included into the domestic side.

CAN THESE CUBS MAKE THE BOWLING WING STRONG????????

We have to wait and see whether these cubs are really capable as that of the injured lions or not.
