Rift in Rajasthan Royals-Kaif asked to leave
There is another big rift in IPL after Ganguly-Buchanan Spat, this time the casualty being last year’s winner Rajasthan Royals(RR). Mohammed Kaif the best indian fielder and part of last years winner RR team has been asked to return back to India. He along with seven other Indian players have been dropped for a trimmed sqad of 17 players. “Kaif got the boot as the team management shortlisted 17-18 players for the Twenty 20…The only way kaif can be back is if any other player sustains injury” told Manoj Badale chairman of RR.

Kaif’s performance was under scanner for he scored only 176 runs in the whole tournament last year playing all 16 matches. Recently, when RR lost their practice match in SA, it was reported that Shane Warne was not very happy with the team’s performance. Later during a practice session he was so upset with some of the players that he had to make a call to send them packing their bags. Shane Warne the only non-Indian captain in the last year’s tournament won everybody’s admiration, but this time round such acts in haste would only dent his image back in India.
This comes as a rude jolt to Kaif whose plans of making a comeback into Indian Squad by using IPL as a platform would have been shatterred.
