Tests not Popular anymore

Can Test match survive in the wake of the growing popularity of T20 format of the game, this is a question asked by many in the recent times.The Marylebone Cricket Club which is the custodian of the laws of cricket conducted a survey in places like South Africa, New Zealand and India found that Tests are fast loosing their popularity especially in India (referred to as the modern heartland of cricket by Sydney Morning Herald) with only 7% of people still following test cricket.The results of this surveys along with some suggestions are to be submitted to ICC in Dubai for the revival of the popularity of test cricket.Some the suggestions include conducting a world Tests Championship and playing day and night test.
