Tickets For IPL Opener Sold Out

Tickets for the opening day of the Second season of IPL which is scheduled on April 18, have been sold out within hours of going on sale online on Friday.It will be a double header on the opening day at Cape Town in South Africa.The first match is between last year’s runner-up Chennai Super Kings(CSK) and Mumbai Indians that will be followed by a match between the defending champions Rajastan Royals and Bangalore Royal Challengers, both the matches will be played in succession on the same ground.Also there will be an extravagant opening ceremony before the double header.

Many people were expecting the sale of tickets to be slow and sales would pickup gradually but proving them wrong the tickets of opening day sold out in just two hours from opening and only few tickets remain to be sold for the second day’s double-header on April 19 at the same venue — Sahara Park in Newlands.
