Come Febuary next year, the focus shifts to the Sub Continent for the biggest cricketing event, the ODI World Cup. Things have changed a lot since the last world cup in 2007. Cricket has seen an amazing transformation with the advent of T20 matches. IPL, Champions League, T20 World Cup all have been instant success with the masses. Hence, World Cup 2011 is a reality check for the 50-over format of the game. There is no doubt that all the matches featuring teams from the sub-continent in their respective nations will be housefull. But the challenge before the organisers is to bring the crowd for the other matches.
